Billie Eilish, Charli XCX to perform on ‘SNL’ in December

Billie Eilish and Charli XCX are both set to serve as the musical guests on SNL in December.

Eilish will not only performing during her episode, but she’ll also make her debut hosting. She’ll be joining a pretty sparse number of musicians who have done double duty on SNL. Artists who have done that in the past include Drake, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles, and Halsey.

Billie Eilish’s SNL episode is set to air on December 11th. During the episode, she’ll likely perform tracks from her most recent album, Happier Than Ever. Just a week later, Charli XCX will be the musical guest with Paul Rudd as host.

Charli XCX has shared two new singles from Crash thus far: “Good Ones” and “New Shapes (feat. Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek).” The forthcoming album features some pretty big names, including Rina Sawayama, A. G. Cook, the 1975’s George Daniel, and more.

In October, Kacey Musgraves took to SNL where she performed “justified” and “camera roll.” During her performance of “justified,” Kacey Musgraves channeled Jenny Gump. She paid tribute to the Forest Gump scene where Robin Wright performs naked, covered by her acoustic guitar. During “camera roll,” Musgraves sang at a table with images of people projected across from her. Eventually, she gets up and sings while looking out to the audience.
