Hayley Williams unveils new project Power Snatch

Hayley Williams isn’t wasting any time. Coming off Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party—one of last year’s sharpest releases and a potential Grammy winner—she’s already rolling out her next move. Williams has teamed up again with collaborator Daniel James under a new name, Power Snatch, debuting the track “Assignment” on Apple Music 1 on Thursday (1/29).

As it turns out, this wasn’t exactly a surprise. Fans quickly connected the dots and realized Williams has been quietly seeding Power Snatch for months, from an Instagram account that surfaced last summer to a Bandcamp page that dropped the song “DMs” in December. For now, details remain scarce, but the music is starting to speak for itself. You can hear everything Power Snatch has released so far below.
