MUNA return with Dancing on the Wall, out now via Saddest Factory Records and Secretly Group, a release that leans into the band’s strengths without sanding down their edges. It feels deliberate and self-assured, the kind of album that arrives knowing its audience is already paying attention.

They’ve also mapped out a North American tour that begins September 17 in Phoenix and wraps October 21 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. hemlocke springs will join for most of the September and October dates, a pairing that makes sense on instinct alone. Both artists occupy a similar space in pop, where hooks come with a sense of unpredictability.

Presale registration is open now ahead of an artist presale on May 12 at 10 a.m. local time. General onsale follows May 14 at 10 a.m. local. The scale of the rooms suggests a step forward, but the focus will be on how these songs hold up in real time.

The band has also shared a video for “Eastside Girls,” directed by Dante Capone, which keeps their visual world closely tied to the emotional tone of the music.

hemlocke springs has been building momentum since the February release of The Apple Tree Under the Sea. The record introduced her as a sharp, off-center pop writer, and her upcoming headlining tour is the next step in that trajectory.
