Tori Amos’ 2001 covers album Strange Little Girls is getting an expanded reissue. Known for reimagining songs by men from a female perspective — including Slayer’s “Raining Blood,” Eminem’s “97 Bonnie & Clyde,” and The Beatles’ “Happiness Is a Warm Gun” — the new edition arrives February 20 via Rhino. It features the original b-sides, her Bowie and Alice Cooper covers, plus two previously unheard tracks: Bruce Springsteen’s “Growin’ Up” and Elvis Costello’s “Hoover Factory.” “Growin’ Up,” featuring longtime collaborator Matt Chamberlain, is out now.
Amos is also gearing up for her 2026 album In Times of Dragons, which she calls “a metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny.” Details are still under wraps, but she’s announced a spring tour of Europe and the UK.
