Pearl Jam's song “Future Days,” from their 2013 album Lightning Bolt, was featured in The Last of Us Part II as a significant plot element, symbolizing the bond between the game’s main characters, Joel and Ellie. The hit HBO adaptation of the game has also incorporated Pearl Jam tracks, including two that played a key role in the May 11 episode titled “Feel Her Love.”

To celebrate this connection, Pearl Jam has announced a new four-track EP showcasing songs used in The Last of Us series. The EP includes the original studio version of “Future Days” and a live rendition recorded at the 2024 Ohana Festival. Additionally, it features the tracks “All or None” and “Present Tense (Redux).” The band has also released a new video for “Future Days.”

Fans can preorder the EP on vinyl exclusively through Pearl Jam’s Ten Fanclub, and it is also available for streaming.
