2023 is shaping up to be a huge year for live music. The return of Paramore, Hozier, and more will ensure that festival lineups are going to be absolutely stacked. If you're having some trouble choosing which ones to attend, here are our top picks for this year:
Adjacent Festival is promising an weekend full of pop-punk nostalgia on May 27-28 with Paramore and Blink-182 as headliners. Chill out on the beach in Atlantic City NJ or join the mosh pits, either way you'll be full of sand by the end of the day. Filling out the rest of the lineup are Turnstile, Japanese Breakfast, Bleachers, Jimmy Eat World, PUP, and many more.
Music lovers will gather from all over on May 19-21 to listen to a massive lineup that includes Calvin Harris, Lil Nas X, SZA, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Paramore. Set on the sunny beaches of Gulf Shores AL, Hangout Fest is sure to be the event that will kick your summer off just right. Filling out the rest of the 2023 lineup are indie darlings such as COIN, The Backseat Lovers, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Noah Kahan, as well as rising stars Stephen Sanchez, Mariah the Scientist, and Flipturn.
KBL is back, bringing a solid lineup to Salt Lake City, UT from May 12-14. With headliners Pavement, The Strokes, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. In 2022 the fest boasted a sold-out weekend and has upgraded to a larger venue (Utah State Fairpark) for 2023. Artists like Run the Jewels, Pixies, and Dominic Fike will make sure there's a little something for everyone.

Listening to Hozier live on the banks of the Tennessee River, what could be better than that? From September 9-10 in Chattanooga TN, Moon River Music Festival will takeover downtown Chatt with the perfect lineup to wrap up the summer. Headliners Caamp and Hozier lead the way, with artists such as Marcus King, Houndmouth, Judah & the Lion, and Noah Cyrus rounding out the rest of the weekend.
Shaky Knees Music Festival will celebrate its 10th year at Central Park in Altanta GA from May 5-7. It's winding up to be one of the biggest Atlanta events in 2023 with The Killers, Muse, and The Lumineers as headliners. If those names weren't enough to convince you, Greta Van Fleet, Tenacious D, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Flaming Lips are also some of the top-billed bands on the lineup.
From May 26-28 in Boston MA, some of the biggest names in rock will take up residence at the Harvard Athletic Complex. Headliners include The Foo Fighters, Paramore, and Queens of the Stone Age. The four-day festival will be The Foo Fighter's first festival appearance since the passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins. Polishing off the rest of the lineup are artists like Noah Kahan, Mt. Joy, Niall Horan, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
Bonnaroo promises a magical weekend from June 15-18 in Manchester TN. The diverse lineup includes headliners like Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, and Odesza. With a little something for everyone, this rural romp of a festival is sure to please with top-billed names that include Portugal. The Man, Lil Nas X, My Morning Jacket, and Girl in Red.
