boygenius announce new LP, share 3 singles

boygenius, the trio of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, have announced their highly anticipated full-length debut, The Record, due out March 31 via Interscope Records. You can preorder the vinyl here. The record will follow up their 2018 self-titled EP, and these new songs come shortly after the supergroup was announced as part of the 2023 Coachella lineup.

They've shared three singles off the album, "$20," "Emily I'm Sorry," and "True Blue." Each song seems to be styled like each artist's solo music. "$20" contains multitudes of Baker's jaunty indie-rock beats. "Emily I'm Sorry" retains Bridger's classic acoustic melancholy, while "True Blue" sounds like a quintessential mellow Dacus song.
