LISTEN: Dinosaur Jr share "Blowin' Up"

With There Near arriving later this month, Dinosaur Jr. have shared another preview of the album. The latest single, "Blowin' Up," puts bassist Lou Barlow at the forefront, serving as one of two tracks on the record that he both wrote and sings.

The release follows the announcement of There Near, due out August 28 via Jagjaguwar, and offers another glimpse into the band's first full-length since 2021. As ever, J Mascis, Barlow, and Murph continue to balance Mascis' signature guitar work with Barlow's more understated songwriting voice.

Dinosaur Jr. wrap up their summer run with Band of Horses this Saturday in Omaha before heading back out on the road this fall for a North American tour with Stef Chura.
