NYC duo Water From Your Eyes have unleashed It’s Beautiful, a new EP built as a companion piece to their 2024 album It’s a Beautiful Place. Released via Matador, the project reshapes three tracks, pushing them into stranger, sharper territory.

According to Nate Amos, the versions of “Born 2” and “Nights in Armor” on the EP reflect how those songs first lived before the album took form. And after hearing repeated questions about an old, sprawling cut of “playing classics,” he went ahead and rebuilt it entirely—this time speeding it up and tossing in car noises for the thrill of it.
