LIVE REVIEW: Manchester Orchestra Stream Performance from Asheville

Known for their exciting live shows, Manchester Orchestra released A Black Mile To The Surface: The Global Concert Film on Friday.

The band played their 2017 album front-to-back in a gorgeous free concert, shot with multiple cameras at Echo Mountain Recording in Asheville NC. Directed by Alec Stanley and Stephen Payne, the group also hosted a virtual meet and greet with fans prior to their performance.

In the COVID-19 pandemic, more bands are quickly adapting and creating livestreams and other performance experiences. With A Black Mile To The Surface: The Global Concert Film Manchester Orchestra has set the bar high for connecting and interacting with fans in these strange times.
