Liz Phair and Sleater-Kinney are joining forces this September for “The Flannel and the Fury,” a co-headlining tour that reads less like a nostalgia lap and more like a reclamation. Spanning cities across the U.S.—with a handful of dates featuring Phair solo—the run taps directly into the DNA of ’90s alt-rock, when women carved out space, volume, and authority in a scene that rarely made room for them.

Tickets go on sale May 1 at 10 a.m. local time, with presales beginning April 29. More than a co-headlining run, “The Flannel and the Fury” feels like a convergence—two forces that helped define an era, stepping back onto the stage together with something still left to say.
