Turnstile win Grammys for Best Rock Album & Best Metal Performance

Turnstile went into this year’s Grammys with four nominations and left with their first-ever wins, taking home Best Rock Album for Never Enough and Best Metal Performance for “Birds.”


Accepting the Rock Album trophy, frontman Brendan Yates shouted out the band’s roots and the scene that shaped them. “The community we found through punk and hardcore music has given us a safe place to swing in the dark and land somewhere beautiful,” he said, before thanking their “family, friends, partners, peers, and Baltimore.”
