Tyler Ramsey announces new studio album 'New Lost Ages'

North Carolina-based artist Tyler Ramsey has announced his new album New Lost Ages, due out February 9, 2024 via Soundly Music. The album traverses genre-bending terrain, and is as indie and psych-rock as it is singer-songwriter. The first single “New Lost Ages” sets the tone for Ramsey’s new project. With artfully crafted layers of guitar, synth, and piano atop a heavy backbeat, the track is reminiscent of the best of Lord Huron and Father John Misty - catchy whilst tackling complex acceptance of reality.

“This song is about letting go of innocence and facing the reality of a society that is in decline. One that is refusing to change course or even pause itself,” Ramsey says. “It’s searching for hope in all of this. It’s wanting my children to be able to experience this world with wonder and joy and not have to carry the weight of our mistakes.”
