Bad Bunny made his long-awaited return to the Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday — his second appearance overall, but his first as headliner — and turned the stage into a vivid, high-impact celebration. The performance doubled as a love letter to Puerto Rico, complete with sugarcane fields, domino games, a piragua stand, and appearances from his endangered Puerto Rican toad mascot, Sapo Concho.

The spectacle didn’t stop there: the set even featured a wedding that was reportedly real, plus surprise cameos from Lady Gaga, who delivered a salsa-tinged take on “Die With A Smile,” and Puerto Rican icon Ricky Martin, who joined to perform “Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii.”

The show closed on a pointed note. Bad Bunny offered a “God Bless America,” then methodically named every country in the Americas as the phrase “the only thing more powerful than hate is love” glowed behind him. He sealed the moment by holding up a football stamped with “together we are America” — then spiking it at center stage.
