With less than a month to go before the release of her third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, Olivia Rodrigo stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge for a pair of performances that showcased both her latest material and her knack for reinterpretation.

Rodrigo delivered a rendition of her recent single “the cure” — the song she has joked “has nothing to do with the band” — and took on CMAT’s “When A Good Man Cries,” a standout from CMAT’s acclaimed 2025 album Euro Country.
