The community, camaraderie, and unifying power of music that sits at the heart of a festival is always something special.

As Salt Lake City's flagship music festival Kilby Block Party comes to an end, we wanted to highlight what makes Utah's passionate music scene what it is: the people. In the afterglow of a near-devastating storm that almost caused a full evacuation of the fairgrounds, it was clear that a bout of inclement weather wouldn't stop attendees from enjoying the rest of the weekend.
