Wilco’s Nels Cline performs ‘Posing For Cars’ live with Japanese Breakfast

Wilco’s Nels Cline joined Japanese Breakfast on stage over the weekend for a performance of “Posing For Cars.”

This weekend marked Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival in North Adams, MA, and Japanese Breakfast performed on Saturday. Toward the end of their set, Japanese Breakfast brought out Nels Cline to perform their Jubilee closing track. The performance saw the Wilco guitarist ripping through a killer guitar solo.

“Nels Cline just ripped a fucking solo on my fucking song,” Japanese Breakfast wrote on social media.

Later on in the festival, Japanese Breakfast returned the favour, joining Wilco on stage to perform “Jesus, Etc.” Japanese Breakfast had previously covered the 2001 Yankee Hotel Foxtrotduring her own live performances.
